Civil Society Forum Trieste – Open Call

Open call for applications to the Civil Society Forum Trieste and online consultation platform

All interested individuals are invited to contribute to the Civil Society Forum's ongoing consultation process on the topics of youth cooperation, rule of law and anti-corruption, enterprise development and innovation potentials in the Western Balkans, which will be the focus of the Forum in Trieste in July 10-12, 2017. The idea is to open the political negotiation of Western Balkans European Integration to the public, thereby increasing civil society participation and, ultimately, working towards a more transparent and vibrant democratic process. Participants are also welcome to suggest new topics for discussion, if they feel that certain aspects are missing.

The Western Balkans Summit Series, which came to life in 2015, is organized by the European Fund for the Balkans, ERSTE Foundation and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, in partnership with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation (HBF), Central European Initiative (CEI), Instituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), Centro Studi Politica Internazionale (CESPI) and Osservatorio Balnaci e Caucaso.

For those interested in attending the conference, there is an application form available here. The deadline for applications is June 5. All applicants will be informed about the final selection by June 15.
